BC is celebrating Family Day Friday, February 16 to Monday, February 19, 2024.

Family Day Activity grant applications are now being accepted.

BC Family Day

On Monday, February 19, 2024, British Columbians will celebrate the twelfth annual British Columbia Family Day holiday.

Family Day was introduced in BC in 2013 to recognize the great contributions that families make to our lives, our communities and our province. Supporting families to be strong, happy and healthy is essential to building a healthy BC. Family Day is a day to get together with all the people who, for each of us, make up our family.

BC Family Day Activity Grants

The Province of British Columbia, in partnership with the BCRPA, has made available one-time grants of up to $1,000 to support a range of community recreational and cultural activities, free of charge, over the Family Day weekend.
