About Symposium

BCRPA's Annual Symposium is attended by upwards of 350 recreation and parks professionals planners, volunteers, sector partners and elected officials who are interested in exploring best practices, innovative solutions and trends in the sector.

The event features keynote speakers, in-depth education sessions, networking opportunities, and an virtual Marketplace. Every year,  Symposium attracts both repeat and new attendees as it delivers valuable information that enhances delegates' knowledge and increases their value and contributions to the organizations they represent.

This year's theme, "For Everyone. From Everywhere: Recreation + Parks" was selected to encapsulate the purpose of recreation and parks professionals. We have taken care to ensure the program options reflect the same spirit.
