Benefits of hosting a PoolSafe BC Course

Course Details

  • 8 hours (including breaks)
  • Minimum 10 people, maximum 20
  • Certificate upon successful completion

How to Host:

1. Complete and send in the Parks & Recreation Course Request Form which includes:

  • Potential dates & times
  • Location
  • Whether the course is open to the public

2. Course Costs to Consider

  • $30/person (BCRPA Certificate Fee – charged once if combined with Pool Operator Course)
  • $30/PoolSafe BC Manual plus tax/shipping
  • Instructor fee & travel costs (varies; to be negotiated with instructor)

3. Confirm with the Professional Development and Initiatives Coordinator:

  • Promotion details (BCRPA website & email Communiqué)
  • Administration details
