Youth Facilities cater predominantly to young people from 15 to 24 years of age, but can be used by any age group. They include skate parks, basketball courts and half courts, and enclosed ball courts. BMX tracks, ice facilities and tennis courts are excluded.

The Youth Facilities report examined the following questions: What is your current level of service for skate parks and other youth facilities? Do you have a strategy for future provisions? Will this mean a change in level of service or method of service delivery? What impact is this going to have on your operational expenditures?
