Calling all Presenters!

We're looking for presenters for Parks Professional Pathways 2025, happening February 26 & 27, 2025!

 

Submit a session proposal and share your expertise on one of the following topics:

  • Accessible park and trail design

  • Adaptive play structures

  • A.I., robotics, automation, and innovative tech in turf maintenance

  • Tree canopy cover and its relation to heat island mitigation

  • Successful retention and recruitment strategies

  • Water conservation

  • Multidiscipline parks projects (case studies)

  • Invasive species management

  • Plants as public art

  • Fire mitigation strategies (e.g. prescribed burns)

  • Maintaining wildlife features in parks and natural areas

  • Pollinator meadows

  • Intersection between landscape design and long-term maintenance

 

Session proposals will be accepted until October 25, 2024.

About Parks Professional Pathways

Parks Professional Pathways, presented by BC Recreation and Parks Association, is BC’s exclusive conference for parks professionals, such as maintenance staff, planners, visionaries, change-makers, and decision-makers. Parks professionals from local governments and from the private sector look to this conference as the place to keep up-to-date with the latest best practices, technology, and trends to stay on the changing demands of the environments they work in.
