Cancellation and Refunds Policy for Conference Registrations and meal tickets

A partial refund of 70% of the registration fee will be given for cancellations received prior to April 1, 2024.

Cancellations made starting April 2, 2024 are non-refundable.

Registrations are transferrable.

All requests for cancellations must be submitted in writing to the BCRPA office at by email and received within the allotted cancellation times noted above.

Please note, attendees are responsible for canceling their own hotel and travel reservations.

Cancellation and Refunds Policy for Social Opportunities on Wed, May 1

Cancellation requests for Social Opportunities received prior to April 1 at noon will a receive 100% refund.

Cancellations requests received after the deadline are non-refundable.

Registrations are transferrable.

Cancellations and Refunds Policy for HIGH FIVE® Workshop on Fri, May 3

This training is non-refundable.

Requests for registration transfers are considered on a case-by-case basis and are available on a one-time basis only. At least 7 business days' notice is required.

Policy on Program Content

The presentations at Symposium belong to the presenters — BCRPA assumes no responsibility for any errors or omissions in the information presented. In addition, the views and opinions of the presenters are not necessarily those of the Association.

The Symposium program content is subject to change without notice.

Policy on Event Photography and Recording of Presentations

Photographs and recordings (audio and video) of Symposium may be produced and may include your recognizable image. BCRPA uses these recordings for its print and electronic promotional material, including on the Internet via the BCRPA website or other social media websites.

By registering for this event, you consent to be recorded through photographs, audio and/or video recordings taken during Symposium. These will be used for print and e-promotional materials and other commercial purposes by BCPRA to promote BCRPA, its courses and events.

Unauthorized recording (audio, video, still photography, etc.) of presentations at any BCRPA event by a presenter or the audience including sessions, plenaries, keynotes, etc., without the express written consent of the Chair of the event or designated BCRPA staff is strictly prohibited.

Any authorized recording must be disclosed to the Delegates in attendance in that session, prior to the commencement of the presentation and only record the presenter, not the audience. Further, any authorized recordings may not be used for commercial purposes or posted on any open public media source. Conduct that violates this policy may be subject to sanctions pursuant to BCRPA’s disciplinary policies.

Continuing Education Credits/Units

In order to be eligible to receive CECs/CEUs, each individual is required to have their own registration.

BCSLA Credits

BCSLA Continuing Education requirements are self-reporting.

It is up to the individual to determine whether or not the activity is relevant to landscape architecture and the number of credits to assign each activity.

PIBC CPLs

All Parks Professional Pathways conference sessions are eligible for PIBC’s continuing education requirements. 

To receive CPLs under the PIBC program, please follow the procedures below:

    1. Send PIBC your event agenda, which should include the info (title & time-frame) of each specific session (and break) of the specific event, otherwise CPL units eligibility cannot be confirmed.
    2. Please refer to the PIBC Continuous Professional Learning System Guide for more information about how to self-report for PIBC CPL units OR visit the PIBC Continuous Professional Learning (CPL) webpage here.

BCRPA Fitness CECs

BCRPA Fitness CECs are available for attendance.

  • Wed, May 1 – one day attendance:  4.5 CECs
  • Thu, May 2 – one day attendance:  4.25 CECs

To qualify for Fitness CECs, Fitness Leaders must check-in at the registration desk when they first arrive for the conference and must sign out at the end of their last day of attendance.

CECs earned will be added directly to Fitness Leader accounts on The Registry® of Fitness Professionals.
