This free, online session is designed for professionals working in recreation, parks, sport, and physical activity who want to advocate more confidently. If you’re not sure where to start in your advocacy work, this session is your first step.

REGISTER FOR ADVOCACY 101CPRA’s Advocacy Program
Advocacy 101 is the first of nine sessions in CPRA’s Advocacy Capacity Building Initiative, delivered in partnership with Homeward Public Affairs. The program runs from June 2026 through January 2027.
Program participants will evolve from foundational awareness to coordinated national engagement, including the Forward Together Summit 2.0 and the CPRA’s Day of Action on Parliament Hill this November, where BCRPA will advocate on behalf of BC.
Subsequent sessions in CRPA’s advocacy program will be offered through a sustainable cost model to support program development and delivery.
