Symposium
2009 was about building strength through the unification
of the various aspects of community.
The educational
program focused on the many interconnected dimensions
of community and on the impact of cultural shifts (i.e.,
demographics and ethnicity) on recreation programs,
services and facilities, and on organizational culture,
physical culture, arts & culture.
It also explored innovative approaches to programming
in an environment of changing cultures, focusing on
underlying principles and building blocks.
