Reach Your Target Audience!

BCRPA's Annual Symposium is attended by upwards of 350 recreation and parks professionals ranging from directors to programmers to supervisors, who are interested in exploring best practices, innovative solutions and trends in the sector.

The event features engaging speakers, in-depth sessions on the top trends in the sector, networking opportunities, and a virtual Marketplace. Every year, Symposium attracts both repeat and new attendees as it delivers valuable information that enhances delegates' knowledge and increases their value and contributions to the organizations they represent.

This year's theme, "For Everyone. From Everywhere: Recreation + Parks", was selected to encapsulate the purpose of recreation and parks professionals. We have taken care to ensure the program options reflect the same spirit.

Now, more than ever before, our targeted programming ensures that you will reach your target audience. This year’s educational sessions are geared towards three streams: Access & Inclusion, Leadership & Resilience, and Parks & Open Spaces. We expect an equal or greater turnout of delegates at our conference this year. Virtual conferencing allows us to extend our reach to more remote areas of the province.

Program Highlights

This year’s conference program is specially tailored to fit the most pressing needs of recreation and parks professionals.

This year’s format includes three mornings of dedicated educational opportunities, including networking socials after hours.  Delegates have the ability to customize their schedule to attend one day, the whole thing, or anything in between.

Wishbone has supported the BCRPA for many years, and continues to participate & benefit from the events they organize. The members of the BCRPA are key industry decision makers & influencers, and we endeavour to maintain relationships with them. The BCRPA Parks Professionals Pathway Virtual Conference was a valuable opportunity & a great way to maintain those relationships & connections. The event was very well run, and allowed Wishbone to present itself and some new products to an engaged audience.
