We're problem solvers. We push until we find the most creative, pragmatic solution possible. We see our ideas through until they become inspired, functional, and well-considered buildings.
We've worked hard over the years to protect our firm size and we remain a family-scale studio in East Vancouver, dedicated to our work and the people we work with and for. We're proud to have made our name designing and building some of British Columbia's most respected recreation facilities.

We do architecture.

We do architecture with our clients on projects big and small, from buildings to master planning and engagement. We're with our clients from the beginning of a project until the very end. We help our clients discover the potential of their project and ultimately realize it.

Automated Aquatics Canada Ltd.  | Visit website | Exhibitor

Logo Univerus Sportrecreation

Incorporated in July of 1985, the personnel of Automated Aquatics have skills that relate to swimming pool operation, chemical treatment, equipment installation and service. The company's primary purpose is to serve the aquatic needs of Municipal, Institutional, Hotel, Apartment, and Condominium Swimming Pools throughout Western Canada. This includes chemical, equipment and accessory sales, as well as the installation and servicing of all types of commercial pool equipment.

Automated Aquatics has developed a reputation for being on the "leading edge" of technology. In the mid 1990's, the company started selling and installing Lectranator Salt Chlorine Systems, leading to hundreds of municipal and hotel/condominium installations. By the late 1990's, Automated Aquatics became involved in Wapotec, a revolutionary chemical process that enhances filtration and oxidation. Since 2004, the company has been marketing and selling "state of the art" European filtration systems that further enhance efforts to provide incredible water quality. We also offer the most innovative water testing and chemical control solutions available. In short, we do fantastic things with water!

Automated Aquatics specializes in all things to do with commercial swimming pools. Some very unique and innovative products we would like to highlight this year are:

  1. The NEMo Trichloramine Air Analyzer: the world's first trichloramine monitoring equipment to provide live measurement of trichloramine levels. See attached for more information. We sell and rent this product in Western Canada, and include a written report with recommendations as part of our service.
  2. The WAPOChlor® Electrolysis System: these systems provide an on-demand supply of sodium hypochlorite solution generated from diluted brine through electrolysis. The brine solution tank is part of the generator so no salt is added directly to the pool water as with a conventional "inline" salt water chlorinator. See attached information!
  3. The Swimsuit Dryer: these plastic-bodied swimsuit spinners are whisper-quiet, fast and highly effective. They can dry a swimsuit in 8-seconds! They're highly reliable, have a great warranty and all service is done right here in Edmonton, AB.
  4. The Marlin Cordless Pool Vacuum: Canada's only cordless commercial pool cleaner! These robots can efficiently clean pools up to 50M in length. The wireless induction charging system allows the robot to move around in almost any shape of pool. With no cord holding it back, it can clean around play structures, lazy rivers, oddly shaped pools, etc. Check out our video!

Canadian Red Cross Roundel Logo

The Canadian Red Cross is the leading humanitarian organization through which people voluntarily demonstrate their caring for others in need.

For many Canadians, water bodies are a part of their daily living, livelihood, or way of life. Sadly, each year, tragic and avoidable water-related injuries and fatalities occur across Canada. As a leader in water safety education and drowning research, the Red Cross is committed to preventing water-related injuries and fatalities. Our research is influential in determining Red Cross public education strategies and community initiatives, as well as identifying key messages and skills that all Canadians need to help them stay safe in, on and around the water.

In the current environment, we recognize that many individuals may be experiencing higher levels of stress than usual. Psychological First Aid is a resiliency-building wellness program that equips individuals in supporting themselves and others to cope with the effects of stress, loss, trauma and grief. Psychological First Aid is offered both as a blended learning course and as separate online only modules. For more information on Psychological First Aid please take a look at the included Fact Sheets attached to our marketplace profile.

Since the beginning of the pandemic all Red Cross Training Partners were given access to offer the PFA Online Courses to their customers. Those courses are PFA Online - Self Care and PFA Online Caring for others. We hope this will offer some support to your staff and communities during this stressful time.
