Below you will find information on how to verify and claim CECs/CEUs from each of these organizations:

 

Important Note:

In order to be eligible to receive CECs/CEUs, each individual was required to have their own registration so they may each access the conference and their sessions.

International Society of Arboriculture (ISA)

To receive CEUs under the ISA program, please follow the procedures below:

  1. Click on the session you want to watch and input the same email, first name and last name you used when registering for the conference
    • You will be prompted to enter this information when you access each session.
  2. Take note of the ISA CEU code shown. Codes will be shown at the end of each eligible session.
  3. Make sure to fill out the quiz linked in the session description with your first and last name, ISA certification ID number, and the session code.
    • Note: If there is a session eligible for CEUs that does not have a quiz available to take please email us at registration@bcrpa.bc.ca and we will make the quiz available.

Please note, it may take 4- 6 weeks for your CEC application to be reviewed and approved once BCRPA has submitted the quiz scores to ISA.

British Columbia Society of Landscape Architects (BCSLA)

BCSLA Continuing Education requirements are self-reporting.

It is up to the individual to determine whether or not the activity is relevant to landscape architecture and the number of credits to assign each activity.

Planning Institute of BC (PIBC)

To receive CPLs under the PIBC program, please follow the procedures below:

All Parks Professional Pathways conference sessions are eligible for PIBC’s continuing education requirements. 

  1. Send PIBC your event agenda, which should include the info (title & time-frame) of each specific session (and break) of the specific event, otherwise CPL units eligibility cannot be confirmed.
  2. Please refer to the PIBC Continuous Professional Learning System Guide for more information about how to self-report for PIBC CPL units OR visit the PIBC Continuous Professional Learning (CPL) webpage here.
