Strategies for Challenging Behaviours
The BCRPA, in partnership with Katy Bigsby, Workshop Facilitator and Principal Consultant of Bigsby Consulting, are pleased to offer three courses focused on strategies to address challenging behaviour and social-emotional learning.
These courses are available throughout BC and can be delivered in full day or half day formats.
All three workshops are available by Skype and in person.
Strategies for Challenging Behaviours – Level 1
This professional development workshop was created to support staff with the increased demands of working with challenging behaviours and to facilitate young people's ongoing participation in school and community programs. The feedback we get says that staff feel more connected and competent post-workshop.
Strategies for Challenging Behaviour workshop - Level II
This professional development workshop is for those who have taken the introductory Strategies for Challenging Behaviour workshop. In this session, we look at how our actions and behaviours impact the children we work with. We go into greater depth with case scenarios and role-plays.
Creating Policies and Procedures for Challenging Behaviour
This workshop supports organizations to develop policies and procedures to pro-actively minimize risk and increase workability of the program by creating guidelines and tools to support participants and staff alike.
