Community Host Organizations

Community Host Organizations (CHO) are community-based organizations that will provide support for youth within their communities. The primary function of the CHO is to support youth and assist with access to facilities, equipment and resources that youth identify are needed for their activities.

Why should community organizations sign on?

  1. Help youth in your community access grants to support their activities, challenges and events
  2. Increase your organization’s visibility and profile among young people
  3. Attract participants to existing or new programs and events targeted at youth
  4. Be an active partner in addressing the inactivity crisis in Canada by helping provide access to facilities, equipment, resources and logistical support for youth
  5. Help build active leaders of tomorrow
