Regional District Parks Network

The Regional District Parks Network is an informal alliance of representatives from BC’s Regional Districts. They are united by a shared commitment to providing quality park experiences in their respective regions. This group is in the early stages of its formation and welcomes individuals who could benefit from a collaborative approach to problem solving and planning. Regional Parks Pre-symposium Workshop - May 9-10, 2011

The BCRPA is partnering with regional districts in hosting this annual workshop, to take place during the two days immediately preceding the BCRPA Symposium. Day One consists of presentations and dialogue on current issues facing regional parks, and evening networking. Day Two includes a tour of sites relevant to the previous day’s session. This interesting and timely two-day workshop will be of interest to regional park managers, municipal administrators, planners, policy analysts and resource management planners.

  • May 9 sessions, including light refreshments, lunch and dinner

Note: Registrants are responsible for their own accommodations and costs associated with travel to or from the venue. Fees for the pre-symposium workshop are in addition to those charged for attending the BCRPA symposium.
