POOLSAFE BC COURSE

 

 

BCRPA, in partnership with the BC Municipal Safety Association, WorkSafeBC, Lifesaving Society and CUPE BC, is proud to present the PoolSafe BC course.

This course is taught by knowledgeable, trained professionals in the field of recreation aquatics and focuses on pool worker safety rather than pool operations.

The goal of this training is to provide aquatic centre staff with the knowledge and skills needed to recognize, evaluate, and control hazards in a pool setting in BC.

PoolSafe BC Course Content Includes:

  • Rights and responsibilities of Employers and Workers
  • Hazards
  • Chemical Safety
  • Emergency Preparation and Response
