Exciting New Changes:

The BCRPA has undertaken the revision and upgrading of both the Level I & II Pool Operator courses. The new materials are designed to provide BC specific content and specifically, to reference the new BC Pool Regulations that were released in 2010 and updated in 2012. In addition, the upgrades ensure that we have consistent delivery of important course content across the province.

Some of the new features of our upgrading include:
  • New Participant Manuals for Level I and II which will act as a rich take-away resource
  • Standardized PowerPoint slides for Instructors
  • Removal of the NSPF manual as a requirement for the Level I course. (This great reference book will still be available for purchase through the BCRPA. However, Participant Manuals will have the most relevant information incorporated.)
  • BC specific content
  • References to the BC Pool Regulations and Guidelines

New Fee Structure & Admin Features:

  • The new course materials will be delivered effective February 1, 2014.
  • The new fee structure will be the same $70 fee per person to host organizations for each course level. This fee covers the cost of the new Participant Manual, database entry fee, certificate printing and mailing to candidates.
  • Shipping fees for materials has also been adjusted to reflect more accurately, the real costs of shipping per region.

Shipping Costs:

All prices below reflect a single course shipment of maximum 20 booklets. For any order with extra manuals, additional costs will occur.
