A hands-on overview on playground safety and current issues being faced today. This is a cost effective, accessible and informative program for those who need an introductory course on safety awareness and CSA standards, including grounds maintenance, landscape architects and all individuals interested and involved in injury prevention in playspaces.

Available for free for use in Canada, the i-Tree software suite helps provide urban forestry analysis and benefits assessment, including tree benefits related to green house gas mitigation, air quality improvement, water retention, community livability and tree effects on building energy use, as well as differences in benefits between tree species. This in-person hands-on training workshop is led by Dr. David Nowak, a contributing member of the Nobel Peace Prize winning Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, 2007.
